Portland limestone cement NA 442/2013

Def:

Is a gray cement, containing:

                     * 80 to 94% of ordinary clinker

                     * 6 to 20% pure limestone

                     * About 5% gypsum as a setting regulator.

AREA OF USE  :

• Current concrete (unreinforced or weakly reinforced: foundations, reduced spans, deferred formwork stripping;

• Precast unreinforced concrete products (blocks, slabs, etc.);

•             Masonry ;

• Soil stabilization;

• Large-scale works (dams etc.);

• Road concrete.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS :

1. Mineralogical composition of clinker:

    C3S ≥ 55%

• Chemical analyzes:

   * Sulphates (SO3) ≤ 3.5%

              * Chlorides cl ≤0.1%

              * magnesium oxide MgO ≤3%

• Physical tests:

     * Mechanical resistance to compression:

• 02 days ≥10 MPa

• 28 days ≥42.5 MPa

 * Normal consistency: 26 to 30%

 * Start of setting> 60 min

           * Lime expansion ≤10 mm

           * End of setting> 250 min

           * Refusal on a 45 µm sieve: 8-12%

           * Heat of hydration at 41 h ≤270 d / g

* specific surface of Blaine ≥3500 cm2 / g
